Guerra: "We never stopped believing"
The midfielder talks about the win over Real Sociedad
Valencia CF midfielder Javi Guerra reviewed his two-goal performance against Real Sociedad on Matchday 37.
The win
“It reminded me a bit of the victory against Deportivo Alavés, but this one was even more difficult: Playing away from home, with a man down, and they had come back to go in front. I'm happy with the victory, for the team, because we've been struggling all season, and we're bringing the three points home. Now we have to finish the season strongly at Mestalla.”
Resilience
“The team fought hard and the game became very difficult, but we never stopped believing and we fought until the end to take the three points.”
The game at Mestalla against FC Barcelona
“We're finishing the season at home in front of our fans. We all deserve to finish the season in the best possible way -and why not challenge for the European places?”
Goals
"It seems like now I'm scoring the goals I haven't managed all season, and I'm happy about it. Anything that helps the team is welcome."
